INTERNATIONAL MATCH VERSUS LONDON-BASED 'AMERICAN-BORN' PLAYERS in GREAT BRITAIN

In 1906, the British Baseball Association was established featuring baseball teams affiliated with top association football clubs in the London area. Baseball squads connected to Tottenham Hotspur, Woolwich Arsenal, Fulham, Clapton Orient, and Leyton all participated in the competition. The following year an 'international match' between 'English-born' and 'American-born' players occurred on 15 July. The 'Evening Standard' reported the line-ups for the contest on 9 July, but no score is available.
